It’s been a week since I attended my dear friend, Mehrnoosh’s wedding and I still keep reflecting on how incredibly touching and beautiful the day was. This couple is truly meant to be and witnessing their union that was so full of love, tradition and happiness touched my heart. Sniff Sniff. Mehrnoosh was probably one of the most beautiful brides I’ve ever seen. Truly magical.
They say it never rains in Southern California but April showers just so happened on this day. That didn’t matter one bit to Mehrnoosh and Farhad because it made for an even more romantic setting. You could so tell their focus was on each other and celebrating with all their family and friends and nothing else. This outdoor wedding was such a romantic, dreamy, rustic event nestled in the beautiful Malibu Hills at Calamigos Ranch. The day was filled with so many emotions and tears of joy and truly an unforgettable experience for me and every guest there.
Mehrnoosh and Farhad’s attention to detail and their rich Persian culture showed throughout the evening with traditional Iranian wedding elements. After the ceremony Angel and I managed to get a closer look at The Sofreh Aghd and we couldn’t help but be in awe of how incredibly stunning it was. “The concept of the Persian Sofreh Aghd is a tradition with over 2500 years of history. The Sofreh is a large ornamental piece of a beautiful cloth spread on a table. The spread is a central feature of the Persian Wedding Ceremony and contains many items, all to symbolize the different qualities that the couple would hope to bring into their new life together.”
Fun, tradition, joy, happiness and LOVE never fall out of style. LOVE is BLISS! Congrats to Mehrnoosh and Farhad!!
